Accessibility statement
Pnina believes the web should work for everyone. We have made this website accessible to people with disabilities in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Act, 1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
Accessibility level
The site was built to meet Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, and is designed to the newer WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
What we have done
- Clear semantic structure with headings, landmarks and lists that screen readers can navigate.
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and labels for every button, link and form field. Decorative media is hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields with visible labels and clear error messages.
- Colour contrast that meets AA requirements.
- Text that can be enlarged up to 200% without losing content, and a layout that adapts to mobile screens.
- Correct language and reading direction for Hebrew (right to left) and English (left to right).
- Animations follow the “reduce motion” setting of your operating system.
Accessibility menu
The accessibility button in the corner of every page opens a menu where you can:
- Enlarge the text in two steps.
- Switch to high contrast.
- Highlight links.
- Stop all animations, moving effects and background videos.
- Go back to the standard mouse cursor.
Your choices are saved in your browser for your next visit.
Known limitations
- The videos on the site are silent and decorative, so they have no captions or audio description. They can be paused with the pause button or stopped from the accessibility menu.
- The contact form and WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp, an external service that we do not control.
Despite our efforts, some part of the site may still not be fully accessible. If you find one, please tell us so we can fix it.
Browsers and assistive technology
The site is designed to work with the current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on desktop and mobile, and with common screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
Physical accessibility
Pnina provides its services online, by phone and over WhatsApp, and does not operate a physical location that is open to the public.
